P.PICHA’s Novel ‘Jarukraticha’ Gets TV Drama Adaptation

Following ‘I Feel You Linger in the Air’ and ‘To Sir, With Love’, it seems we are getting another Thai period BL drama!

On March 16, the author, P. Picha, also known for her work ‘Let Me Into Your Heart’, which is also reportedly having its adaptation, revealed that her novel “จาฤกรติชา (Jarukraticha)” is in the process of its series adaptation as well. The novel is set against the backdrop of King Rama VI’s Regime in Thailand.

With this announcement, local and international fans are starting to drop some familiar names or BL couples they would like to star in this project. Let’s find out together if we see familiar faces as the casting audition begins.

The drama depicts the story of Rati Dier, the grandson of a servant in the household. The lady ambassador later adopted and raised him in France. Upon his return to Thailand, he serves as an interpreter for diplomatic affairs, where he finds himself caught up in gossip surrounding a young master named Phra Surathee Thamthanaphit. Surathee earns a reputation as a notorious womanizer due to his unmarried status; regardless of the daughters he pursues, they inevitably become pawns in his schemes. The question lingers about the cause of Surathee’s perpetual bachelorhood and whether it has any ties to Rati Dier’s past.
