More BL & GL? ‘Midnight Clinic’ and ‘The Whale Store’ Announce Future TV Adaptation

More is more for us BL and GL fans! Two new queer novels have just been greenlit for a television series.

On October 28, Monday, ‘My Marvellous Dream Is You’ director A Natthaphong Wongkaweepairod started teasing a new series he’s working on with a couple of cryptic photos.

Later on, he revealed that it was for the adaptation of Gingercat’s novel titled ‘Midnight Clinic’.

The official synopsis reads, “Are you a living person or a dead person? Just following up to take care of my grandfather who is in the hospital, I just want to go down to the convenience store late at night, Nutkarn found a special clinic at midnight. This hospital is good, there is service all the time. But the patients of the midnight clinic are not people!!! Plus, there is a mysterious person who came to steal a kiss from him!!!”

On October 30, author Snow Leopard divulged that the rights for their novel ‘The Whale Store’ as been bought to be made into a TV series.

An official synopsis of the book reads, “See that ‘Closed’ sign? It’s 11 pm and what grocery store is open for business!” Whale, is a talented secretary whose life suddenly takes a turn and she has to unexpectedly inherit the family grocery store. On top of that, she has to deal with Seal, a strange customer who keeps coming to annoy her. And as the days go by, it seems that it’s starting to spread to her heart instead. Just managing the grocery store is already tiring enough. Please don’t come and cause me more headaches than this. Please!”
