Meet The Cast and Their Roles in ‘Boyy of God’

Following the ‘Boyy of God’ introduction story, let’s get to know about the cast and their roles.

‘Boyy of God’ is an upcoming Thai BL series revolving around the members of a polo club and their secrets — that put their relationship and beliefs on a test — and led to conflicts, and loss that they could never forget for the rest of their lives.

Let’s delve into the characters and their storyline in the drama.

Sawan (played by Tung) is the leader of the water polo team and wants to remove Poo (played by PP) from the team to solve the problem. However, Poo’s skills are great which made him difficult to replace, and his teammates would not agree with Sawan’s decision.

He, himself, had a secret: he made a mistake by taking sexy and nude photos in exchange for a small amount of money. His teammate, Champ (played by True) discovers and is the only person who knew about this. So, Champ tries to help Sawan to talk to the owner to return the cash that Sawan received and to retrieve those photos. He cares more about his leader than any other teammate and did not want him to have a bad image. However, as time went on, the Champ discovered more and more of Sawan’s hidden secrets, which eventually led to a breaking point for the both of them.

Lert (played by Tar) is the newest member and a talented polo player, who falls in love with Touch (played by Xinweer), his Christian teammate. He makes an effort to go to church every Sunday with Touch to get closer to him. However, one day, Lert finds out that Christianity taught that loving someone of the same gender is a sin. After hearing it, Lert felt like he had been slapped in the face. How could he deal with his feelings now that he was so devoted to God and in love with Touch at the same time?

Yot (played by Boss) is the elder brother of Lert who entered monkhood to study together but Yot left before completing the training. Petch (played by Riw) is a friend from the same village as Lert and Touch, who rented a house near the school and live alone. Yot is an introverted person who is not interested in romance. He intends to become a monk and serve religion. On the other hand, Phet is someone who is in love with Yot and tries to open his heart by any means possible to heal Yot’s heartbreak and change his mind.

Kob (played by Jaonai) was a senior student and two years older than Mee (played by Pig), and Mee had admired and looked up to Kob for a long time. Mee eventually joined the water polo team, but their parents did not support it. Mee, then, asked Kob to pretend to be a senior who helps tutor him for exams, so Mee can spend time with his friends in the water polo club after school. When Mee’s parents find out about this, Kob is put in a difficult situation to the point that he might get expelled from school.
