MEET: 12 Thai Actors To Compete in ‘Y Star Challenge’; Premieres September 8th

A reality show featuring BL actors is coming!

‘Y Star Challenge’ is an upcoming eight-episode semi-reality show that features 12 BL actors to compete in singing, acting, dancing, and so much more. It is under the direction of Tanwarin Sukkhapisit (Golf), who directed some notable BL series such as GMMTV’s “The Eclipse”, “Moments of Love”, “Our Skyy 2: The Eclipse”, and “609 Bedtime Story”. The show is hosted by DJ Nan Ratchada and Ommon Phopphat. It is produced by Pro Gold (Thailand) Co. Ltd. and Arton A Bangkok.

On July 10, the production revealed the 12 actors joining the show through local news media outlets along with a few behind-the-scene photo stills. Without further ado, let’s meet them now!

Bank Montop & Mos Panuwat, known as MosBank from “Big Dragon” and upcoming “Sunset x Vibe”;
Art Pakpoom from “What The Duck” and “Between Us”;
Earth Katsamonnat from “My Only 12%”;
Lee Long Shi and Frank Thanatsaran, known as LongFrank from “Love Syndrome III”,
Gun Napat from “Love By Chance”, “Golden Blood”, and “The Luminous Solution”;
James Pongsapak from “Moments of Love” and “Don’t Say No”,
Poppy Ratchapong from “Step By Step” and “Cutie Pie”, Dun Romchumpa from “Gen Y”; and
Kacha Nontanun from “The Luminous Solution”.

‘Y Star Challenge’ is set to premiere on September 8 and will air every Friday at 11 PM GMT+7 in local TV station, GMM25. No further information has been released about its rerun platform. Stay tuned to BLtai for more updates!
