LOOK: Jorjay Phumhirun, Khunpon Phudit Part Ways with ‘Love Sick 2024’

On May 6, TIA51, known for their longest BL project, ‘My Universe, the Series’, announced the departure of “Khunpon” and “Jorjay” from the upcoming BL TV series ‘Love Sick 2024’.

TIA51 Co., Ltd. hereby announces that Mr. Phumhirun Boonpa (Jorjay) and Mr. Phudit Kaewsathien (Khunpon) have mutually agreed to terminate their actor contracts with the company, effective today (May 6, 2024) onwards.

The company extends its best wishes to Jorjay and Khunpon as they pursue their future endeavors, providing continued encouragement and support.

The statement above makes no further mention of the two rookie actors, Khunpon and Jorjay, the reason for their departure, or if someone else will take over their roles.

‘Love Sick 2024’ is a new take on the hit teen romance drama ‘Love Sick The Series’ which explores students’ experiences attending an all-male college called Friday College. The series centers on the budding love story between Noh, the president of Friday College’s music club, and Phun, Friday College’s student council vice president.

Phun faces a dilemma as his father insists on him dating his friend’s daughter. To win her support, Phun convinces his little sister, Pang, to believe he has a boyfriend. Noh, a student council member, discovers his music club’s budget is short and needs money to purchase new drums. He finds Phun, the vice president, and convinces him to be his fake boyfriend in exchange for the money. Initially unwilling, Noh agrees to help Phun with their father. From there, their relationship revolves around their adventures and later evolves through these experiences, ultimately leading to their love for each other.

As of this writing, ‘Love Sick 2024’ is now in production and is slated to be broadcast in July next year. Stay tuned to BLtai for more updates!
