Today (May 17th), Dee Hup House released a statement taking full responsibility and apologizing for the mistake.
From the events that occurred during the filming of the series Step by Step, we would like to address the issue regarding the use of pictures and mentions of Zee Pruk Panich and Nunew Chawarin Perdpiriyawong in a scene.
Firstly, we would like to clarify that prior to filming such scenes, a request for permission to use the pictures and names of Zee Pruk Panich and Nunew Chawarin Perdpiriyawong was made to Domundi Company, the respective company representing the actors. However, it was a mistake on our part not to fully clarify the details. We were informed that the pictures of both actors would only be used in a presentation scene as examples of famous individuals. Regrettably, we failed to communicate the specifics of the scene clearly, resulting in this incident. We take full responsibility for this error, as it was solely caused by Dee Hup House Company.
Dee Hup House sincerely apologizes to Domundi Company, Zee Pruk Panich, and Nunew Chawarin from Mandeework Company Limited for any damage caused to their reputation. We also extend our apologies to the fans of both actors, as we understand that this incident may have affected their feelings. To rectify the situation, we will promptly remove the aforementioned scene from the series.
We want to emphasize that there was no intention to harm the reputation of the two actors or their companies. We are grateful for your understanding and offer our sincerest apologies. We humbly accept any suggestions for improvement and pledge to apply them in the production of our future projects.
