‘Battle of the Writers’ Share Update As The Series Officially Start Filming

Excitement is building as filming for the series has officially begun, bringing us one step closer to the highly anticipated premiere!

Heading into the fourth queue filming for the upcoming series, the official account shared photos of the cast and staff as the adaptation has now begun filming after a blessing ceremony. Tutor as Chan and Yim as Aob-Oon can be seen donning traditional Chinese attire and we couldn’t be more excited for the upcoming series as the two look amazing. Seeing them builds up interest in what the series will offer. Meanwhile, Mark as Pai and Gems as Ozone, the second couple of the series, were also present. The story is intriguing as it starts with five writers who engage in a game where the ‘King’ selects books for them to read, leading to moments of shamelessness. What’s even more interesting is these five writers will collaborate on a BL novel together!

‘Battle of the Writers รัก…ใต้บรรทัด’ is a drama adaptation of the Chinese novel “游戏大作战” (The Great Battle of Games) by the author 苹果树树树. The story revolves around five renowned web novel authors who become entangled in a shameless game that leads to unexpected consequences.

Zhao Yijia (played by Aob-Oon), a popular writer known by the pseudonym ZhaoZhao, appears bright and cheerful but struggles with inner fragility. Yijia’s world is turned upside down when he is accused of plagiarizing the plot of “Ye Luan” (played by Chan), also known as ShiEr Ye, the top online novelist on the literary website. Despite Yijia’s efforts to clear his name, evidence disappears and Luan refuses to engage with him, fueling Yijia’s deep resentment towards Luan, whom he views as shameless. However, in a surprising turn of events, the two end up collaborating on a project together.
