4 Thai BL Novels Getting Webtoon Adaptations

Find out what these Thai BL novels are reportedly having its webtoon adaptation!

The author behind ‘My Ride, I Love You’, Patrick Rangsimant III announced his four BL novels will be adapted into a webtoon version by South Korean webtoon platform company, Kakao Webtoon.

Here are his 4 works that will be webtoonized:

1. My Imaginary Boyfriend

“If you leave it without saying goodbye, it will come back to deprive the life out of you.”

At first, Phai thought that Klong was only his imaginary friend who stepped up to be an imaginary boyfriend. But it seems like Klong doesn’t want to be only an imagination, he wants to be more even if he has to do something terrible…

This is a paranormal thriller romantic novel about Phai who falls in with his imaginary friend whom he left behind without saying goodbye since he was young. After the reunion with Klong, even Phai feels really happy but there is a feeling that touches the back of his neck. It’s fear.

Because it’s like in the bedtime rhyme about the imaginary friend “If you leave it without saying goodbye, it will come back to deprive the life out of you.”

2. 7 Days Before Valentine

When you want your love back, but fate gives you a reaper instead. All he can do for you is only kill people. It’s your job to figure out whom you will pick to be erased from this realm of existence. Who is the real obstacle to your true love? Will the deaths of other people bring your love back?

3. I Love/Kill You

This is a story about two guys, Phu and Krit, who accidentally fall for each other at a psychiatric clinic, rush to start the relationship, and immediately get famous on social networks, just to end up killing each other within a few months later.

Doctor Nin, who was their psychiatrist, had to be involved in this investigation. And during searching their social networks accounts, he found an ugly truth that leads Phu and Krit to a tragic ending.

4. Mystique in the Mirror

Alan is an ordinary young man with memory trouble. His life changes when he begins seeing the ghost of a strange old man every time he looks in the mirror.

Alan’s dad thinks what he’s seeing are hallucinations and sends him for treatment at a psychiatric hospital. There, Alan meets Darwin, the guy in the room next door, and the two develop a bond. However, no matter what, Alan’s doctor isn’t able to rid him of his hallucinations. Alan begins to suspect what he’s seeing isn’t hallucinations; rather, he suspects he’s being haunted. If so, it means there’s something in the past—something Alan isn’t remembering—linking him to the ghost of this old man.

With Darwin’s help, Alan begins to look into his own past. The issue is, Alan comes across a document that reveals his father has long since passed away.
