‘The Rooftop‘ tells the story of young people exploring their own sexuality and what they’re actually attracted to. This 19-minute Taiwanese short film stars young actors Zong Hua Yang and Vivi Yeh. They are also joined by Jhih Ciang Huh, an acclaimed winner of the Golden Horse Award for Best New Performer and actor in ‘Coo-Coo 043J’. The short film is directed by Po Cheng Teng and also included in the 2021 KASHISH Mumbai International Film Festival and the 2021 Honolulu Rainbow Film Festival.

You Cheng and Wen Ting, a young couple in high school, awkwardly attempt to hook up. However, the encounter leaves You Cheng hyperventilating and filled with embarrassment and disappointment. Determined to understand the cause of his reaction and faced with his sulking girlfriend, You Cheng decides to observe other girls’ bodies in an attempt to unravel his problem. Unexpectedly, he stumbles upon a naked Jing Hao, and a surprising reaction unfolds.
