‘WHY R U?’ Korea is coming this August!
The Korean remake of the Thai series ‘WHY R U?’ will finally premiere this coming August! Idol Romance tweeted a teaser photo of the actors who will be playing the Korean counterparts of Thai characters Tutor, Fighter, Zon, and Saifah.
The Korean actors are Lee Jung Min, Lee Ye Hwan, Lee Sang Min, and Park Chang Hoon.

Meanwhile, ‘WHY R U’ is originally based on a Thai novel that tells of a story of normal young university students. The Thai version of the story revolves around Zon’s sister who wrote a fiction that stars him and Saifah, and one day he woke up to find that he is living in a “BL world”. Meanwhile, the character of Tutor and Fighter surrounds mostly around their cat-and-dog type of fighting until they began having feelings for each other. It is unknown if the Korean version will stay true to the original Thai version, however, we will be seeing some familiar faces who will be doing a cameo in the series.
‘WHY R U’ Korea, the first Thai series that is adapted to have a Korean version, will consist of eight episodes with around 30-minute run-time per episode. Stay tuned to BLtai for more updates on where it can be watched globally.
