Popular Korean webtoon ‘Dangerous Convenience Store’ will be adapted into an animation and audio drama!
Good news to Webtoon fans! ‘Dangerous Convenience Store’ will be getting an animation and audio drama adaptation. The story revolves around a part-time worker, Yeo Euijoon, who works at a dubious but well-paying convenience store where he meets a gangster named Beom Geonwoo.
‘Dangerous Convenience Store’ was released in 2020 and has seen a rise in popularity ever since. It won the grand prize in the BL Manhwa category at the ‘2022 RIDI Awards.’ It also gained popularity worldwide and became a bestseller, including in countries like Spain, France, and many more.
The animation is slated to come out on the streaming platform Laftel, while the audio drama is in its planning stages. Both are slated to be released next year.
