New Korean Boys Love (BL) web drama is here!

SUKFILM, the renowned South Korean content creator celebrated for its captivating BL series, has once again delighted fans with its latest release, “Seoul Blues.” Following the success of previous hits like “Blue Boys” and “Bad Guy.”

The eight-episode drama stars Jeong Rui from “Bad Guy” and Choi Seung Jin from “Blue Boys” alongside Lee Suha and Yoo Jinseok. On August 11, the production unveiled a teaser trailer showcasing a tender moment between the two male leads. Daeyoung is seen gently helping Jeong Ha patch a cut on his finger, their faces inches apart as Daeyoung softly warns him to keep the wound dry. Despite their growing feelings, a woman named Minji—who openly likes Daeyoung and later claims that he sees her as his girlfriend—complicates matters.

The trailer also hints at a conversation between Daeyoung and another man, raising questions about whether his girlfriend knows what truly happened at the company. Will they overcome these challenges?

SPOILER ALERT! As you may know, Sukfilm often surprises its VIP members with early releases of new titles without prior notice! The following content contains spoilers from the pilot episode.

The episode kicks off with Daeyoung and Jeong Ha arriving to meet their friend, Minji. Their reunion brings back memories of high school, where it’s revealed that Jeong Ha, at 26, has never been kissed. Daeyoung playfully offers to teach him, setting a playful yet tension-filled tone.

During a moment when Minji steps away, the narrative flashes back to a scene where Daeyoung and Jeong Ha had actually kissed before, though Jeong Ha seems either to have forgotten or is pretending not to remember.

Returning to the present, Daeyoung, emboldened by the memories, confesses his feelings to Jeong Ha. However, his confession is met with rejection, as Jeong Ha values their friendship too much to risk it.

The episode ends on a cliffhanger when Minji also confesses her feelings to Daeyoung, leaving viewers eager to see how this tangled web of emotions will unfold in the upcoming episodes. Stay tuned for more drama and unexpected twists!

OFFICIAL SYNOPSIS: Jeong Ha,  Daeyoung, and Minji, have been close friends since childhood. One day, the three of them were drinking together, and Daeyoung confessed to Jung-ha that he liked him. However, Jeong Ha was caught off guard and rejected Daeyoung’s feelings. Afterward, Daeyoung showed up saying that he was dating Minji. Jung-ha was surprised by Daeyoung’s unexpected behavior, but he tried his best to maintain their friendship.

“Seoul Blues” premiered on August 15, 2024, and is now available for viewing on Sukfilm’s YouTube channel for members with early access and uncut episodes. In two days, it will be available for free. Stay tuned to BLtai for more updates!
