BL fans heads up! Jeff Barcode’s highly anticipated drama faces a delay in post-production and has released a new update!

Today, March 13th, Hanyang Studio released a new statement with an apology, as ‘Wuju Bakery’ is now scheduled for the second half of 2024 instead of the initially announced first half, set for the latter half of March, due to extending each episode’s running time from 30 to 50 minutes. This change affects editing, post-production, and discussions about the broadcasting platform.

The production also enhances the storyline without compromising quality. Thanks for your understanding. Adjustments to the official trailer and marketing schedule will be made. And extend their gratitude for the unwavering support, as they aimed to provide high-quality BL drama.

As March, the targeted release month for the drama ‹Wuju Bakery>, approaches, we are writing to share the current situation.

The release of the drama <Wuju Bakery> is scheduled for the latter half of March rather than the first half, and we sincerely apologize for not adhering to the officially announced schedule.

The primary reason for the schedule change is the alteration of the drama’s running time from 30 minutes to 50 minutes. With the 8 episodes each lasting 50 minutes, the drama takes on the format of a regular drama rather than a web drama, resulting in changes to the overall editing schedule, post-production work, and CG schedules. Additionally, there will be further discussions regarding the broadcasting platform. Rather than reducing the running time of the drama to match the editing situation, we have opted to enhance the quality of the story to present a better drama on a better platform.

We kindly ask for your understanding regarding the changes in running time and schedule.

Please note that the official trailer and marketing schedule, which you have been eagerly anticipating, will also be adjusted to align with the drama release schedule. We sincerely thank you for your patience and support as we prepare to present the drama ‹Wuju Bakery>.

Hanyang Studio further clarified with the latter announcement that ‘Wuju Bakery’ was originally to be released in March, but due to an adjustment in duration, the production now aims to be released in the second half of the year. CG works play a crucial part and need to extend their time frame.

Wuju Bakery’ is one of the most-anticipated drama collaborations between Thailand and South Korea, which stars Jeff Satur and Barcode Tinnasit from the hit 2022 Thai BL ‘KinnPorche’. The series is going to be a sci-fi romance drama consisting of eight episodes and is directed by Han Dong Ha. The drama also stars Dion, Q, and 1ST.ONE members Jason and Alpha.
