‘Boys’ Voice’, a reality show that will feature amateur voice actors, will premiere tonight!
Kidaris Studio will be launching a reality web program that will feature four amateur voice actors (with some familiar faces!). ‘Boys’ Voice’ is a reality program where Park Yohan, an experienced voice actor, will be mentoring four amateur voice actors. Although new in the voice acting industry, some may notice that they look somewhat familiar (because they are!).
The actors who will be participating in the reality show are: Han Gi Chan (“Where Your Eyes Linger”, “Ocean Likes Me”); New Kidd member and musical actor Lee Min wook; SBS supermodel and MNET’s Boys Planet contestant Jung Mingyu; and ‘Ghost Station’ actor Oh Jin Seok. Together with these four handsome contestants is veteran voice actor Park Yo Han. Episode 1 will showcase the meet-up of the amateur actors for the first time, together with Park Yo Han.
The reality program will showcase how the voice actors will gradually immerse themselves in their respective characters in preparation for the Bomtoon webtoon 범을 길들이는 요령 or with its official English title of ‘Art Of Taming a Tiger’. The BL webtoon is about Yoonjae who lives in an old villa where he meets Beomjin who lives downstairs. A soul-calling bell that belonged to Beomjin entwines itself on Yoonjae, and they come up with plans on how to take it off. Fans of the webtoon will now be able to see the process of voice acting. Will the four actors immerse themselves well into the characters of this beloved webtoon?
