Park Sang Young’s Novel ‘About Faith’ to Be Adapted into a Drama

Following the success of ‘Love in the Big City’, Park Sang Young’s novel ‘About Faith (믿음에 대하여)’ is set to receive a drama adaptation!

In a recent interview published on October 24 on DAUM, Park Sang-young revealed that he has signed a new drama-writing contract and is actively working on the project. He also hinted that the drama adaptation of ‘About Faith’ is in progress, in collaboration with the production team behind the drama ‘Mine (마인)’. While he expressed excitement about this new venture, he emphasized his continued dedication to his work as a novelist.

In 2022, Park Sang-young, who was shortlisted for the International Booker Prize for ‘Love in the Big City’, completed the final chapter of his “Love Trilogy.” ‘About Faith’ features four interconnected stories: Kim Nam Joon, an anchor who was the only one to secure a permanent position after a strike; Go Chan Ho, an office worker newly promoted to assistant manager; Yoo Han Young and Hwang Eun Chae, digital marketing colleagues; and Im Chul Woo, a former izakaya owner in Itaewon. The stories portrays the struggles of those who have become young professionals shedding tears in the workplace, and the lives of those in their thirties who dream of maintaining a stable relationship with a life partner.
