In their interview with Esquire Korea, ‘Our Dating Sim’ lead actors Lee Jonghyuk and Lee Seunggyu talked about their funny behind-the-scene moment during one particular scene that was supposed to be intimate.
Esquire Korea compiled questions from fans, and one of them asked them why the two of them laughed hard after their rooftop kissing scene.
Lee Jonghyuk, who played the role of Wan in the drama, said, “During our first kissing scene, I mentioned (in the BTS video) that Seunggi showed his (kissing) habit. And in our second kissing scene, I showed my own (kissing) habit… I can only say this much about this issue. I’ll leave it to everyone’s imagination.” Meanwhile, Lee Seunggyu, who played Kitae, looked visibly shy when Jonghyuk was talking about their kissing habits. Adding to Jonghyuk’s revelation, Seunggyu said, “For me, it was because Jonghyuk was directly in front of me right after our kissing scene. I saw his face and his lips started twitching. And so when I saw him doing that, I couldn’t hold it in. The director said they used that cut.”
Jonghyuk agreed and added, “It was really funny back then because the moment our faces separated, I looked at Seunggyu’s expression — and of course, it wasn’t used in the episode you saw — but Seunggyu’s expression… you can see that face he did in the behind-the-scenes video. I just saw that expression right in front of my eyes and it was so funny, so of course, I couldn’t hold it in. It was truly an unforgettable moment in that place. We really laughed until the end.” Finally, Seunggyu said, “We really both couldn’t hold the laughter in. We had a fun time filming (that scene).”
