Heads up! The character posters for Yoo Seungho and Lee Taevin just dropped for the Korean queer play, ‘Angels In America: A Gay Fantasia on National Themes’.
‘Angels In America’ is an upcoming Korean adaptation of the 1991 American two-part play by playwright Tony Kushner. It follows the lives of marginalized people affected by race, politics, religion, and sexual orientation.
On July 1, Monday, Gleam Company released the stage play’s dramatic and intriguing character posters. Let’s take a look at them, shall we?
- Yoo Seungho / Son Hojun as Prior Walter – A gay man living with AIDS who experiences heavenly visions. He is in a relationship with Louis Ironson.
- Lee Taevin / Jung Kyunghoon as Louis Ironson – Prior’s boyfriend.
- Jung Hyein / Go Junhee as Harper Amaty Pitt – An agoraphobic Mormon housewife who experiences hallucinations and meets Prior when his visions and her hallucinations cross paths.
- Lee Yujin / Yang Jiwon as Joseph “Joe” Porter Pitt – Harper’s husband and a closeted gay Mormon.
