‘Jun & Jun’ lead actors Ki Hyun Woo and Yang Jun Mo answer some questions regarding the friendship within the cast, what they think of the animal the fans say they look like, and more!
Ki Hyun Woo, who plays Choi Jun, and Yang Jun Mo, who plays Lee Jun, sat down for a quick interview regarding their characters. The first question was if Ki Hyun Woo liked that among fans, they call him “Director” just like his character, to which Hyun Woo said he liked it so much because it meant that he acted well and exuded the “director” role well. The second question was does he knew if Choi Jun really did not speak Korean well, to which Hyun Woo slyly asked his co-star, but they both did not answer the question directly.
The third question is what does Ki Hyun Woo think his character Choi Jun thinks about Simeon and Song Hyun Jae? Hyun Woo says his character thinks that “Team Leader Song” is like a bee. He explains, “I think Team Leader Song is like a bee because Lee Jun is like a flower that attracts bees. Team Leader Song is a honey bee, while Simeon is a wasp. It’s because Team Leader Song is such a hardworking employee of the company, and he’s someone that W-Cosme would not be able to be without. I just think that Simeon is a wasp.” Yang Jun Mo asked why that was, and Ki Hyun Woo explained that Simeon is just “strong”, igniting laughter from both.
The fourth question is for Yang Jun Mo, asking about the similarity between him and his character, Lee Jun, to which he said that Lee Jun is an intern who does not know what to do most of the time, but instead of feeling down about it, he works hard to learn, which a personality Yang Jun Mo says he shares with him. The fifth question is what he thinks about how fans said he looks like a chick, to which he said, “At first I thought ‘Why am I a chick? Aren’t I kind of… cool, though?’ but I saw on social media that they treat me very adoringly.” The last question was what was the hardest and the most fun part of filming, to which they both agreed that it was the weather that time because it was so cold they had a hard time filming. But the most fun they had was filming with the whole cast who Yang Jun Mo says felt more like “friends than colleagues”, which made filming ‘Jun & Jun’ a fun memory.
