‘His Man’ season 2 participant Kim Jeongwook publicly came out as gay.
In an Instagram post on June 23, Friday, Kim opened up to the public to tell the world who he really is.
“I’m part of an all-male reality dating show called ‘His Man’. That does mean that I am indeed gay,” Kim said.
In the video he posted, Kim said that despite the long and confusing journey it has been for the past few years, he is now at the stage in his life where he is comfortable with his own orientation.
“I have come to terms with it and I just want to live and share my life with the people I love without any shame and that includes you guys,” he told his 12,000 followers.
Kim also opened up that he still feels awkward and uncomfortable being vulnerable and open with his fans, saying he is not perfect and that he still is a work in progress.
“But I also do feel that this makes my journey unique and hopefully more relatable to you guys and ultimately I do want to write and share music that is more of a true reflection of who I am.”
