Every day is Girl’s Day! Lee Hyeri has been reported to star in the new mystery thriller GL series, ‘Friendly Competition’!
On February 6, Tuesday, Starnews Korea reported that Hyeri will star as the female lead in TVing’s original GL series ‘Friendly Competition.’ Hyeri’s agency, Creative Group ING, responded to the report, saying, “Hyeri is positively reviewing the offer to star in ‘Friendly Competition.’
‘Friendly Competition’ is based on the webtoon of the same name and follows Woo Seul Gi, who transfers to a prestigious girls’ high school in Seoul after the sudden death of her father, who was a member of the college entrance exam preparation committee. She becomes friends with Yoo Jae Yi, the top student in her class and a powerful figure, but the closer she gets, the more she realizes Jae Yi’s other side. The GL is a mystery psychological thriller revealing the secret of death. The screenplay was written by writer Kim Tae Hee.
