Lee Jun’s life as an ex-idol working in an office takes a dramatic turn when his first love, Choi Jun, becomes his department head. As they reconnect, their passionate past is reignited, creating a love story within their workplace.
The meeting between the two characters was incredibly unique, and the revelation of their secret past was handled without unnecessary dragging. The childhood flashback added a layer of sweetness to their reunion. Choi Jun breaks away from the typical cold love interest archetype; though reserved, his subtle acts indicate that he instantly recognized or has an interest in Lee Jun. On the other hand, Lee Jun’s character exudes positivity, confidence, and straightforwardness. How he gathered the determination to catch a ride from a stranger is evidence of that. The idea of recognizing the other through scent added a good touch and is a relatively uncommon plot point we are excited to see. We’ve had many office BL come out but this theme just really hit differently. There’s still much to explore, especially regarding Lee Jun’s history as an ex-idol and how the two lost touch with each other, but their initial interactions have already been incredibly endearing and cute.
