Actor and SF9 member Ro Woon made a cameo in the Korean drama ‘A Time Called You’ alongside fellow actor and close friend Ahn Hyo Seop.
The director of the Korean drama, Kim Jin Won, revealed that the multi-talented actor and idol singer actually did not get paid for his cameo! Instead, he asked the director to send a support coffee truck to his friend, Ahn Hyo Seop. Director Kim explains that he worried a lot about who to cast for the Tae Ha character, knowing full well that whoever should be cast should make Ahn Hyo Seop comfortable to create good onscreen chemistry. Amidst his worries, he asked Ahn if he had a close actor friend, to which he responded Ro Woon, and even asked if he should call him directly.
Director Kim relayed this interest to Ro Woon’s agency, to which Ro Woon accepted with his only condition to have a coffee truck sent to Ahn Hyo Seop under his name. The director praised Ro Woon and Ahn saying, “Ro Woon really wanted the scenes to come out well. We all kept talking to each other [about how it will come out well]. The two actors [did so well] that I wonder if they will do another project together. During emotional scenes, the two of them would screech about how cringy it is, and even when they held hands, they teasingly immediately let each other’s hands go after [the cut].”
