The sweet high school romance between two childhood friends, Yamato and Kakeru, begins soon!
‘I Cannot Reach You’ is based on the popular manga of the same name by Mika and features the frustration and conflicts of two childhood friends who are drawn to each other but struggle to express their feelings. Featuring Maeda Kentaro and Kashiwagi Haru in the roles of Yamato and Kakeru, the teaser highlights the pure and thrilling love story shared between these childhood friends. The sneak peek of the first episode reveals many adorable moments, including Yamato checking Kakeru’s temperature due to his flushed face, the two of them sharing a popsicle, Kakeru tending to Yamato’s injured hand, and the turning point when Kakeru asks if Yamato has feelings for someone.

The newly written song for the series, “U&I,” performed by Hi-Fi Un!corn will serve as the theme song. Written and composed by CNBLUE’s Jung Yonghwa, it perfectly captures the frustrated emotion of desiring to express one’s feelings but being unable to do so.
