Taiwan-based BL + LGBTQ streaming platform, GagaOOLala announced that they will feature ‘‘Tokyo in April is…’ starting June 16th!
‘Tokyo in April is…’ is an upcoming eight-episode Japanese BL under MBS and KADOKAWA’s collaboration project called ‘Tunku’. It is a live adaptation based on Haru’s manga of the same name sold over 300,000 copies. It stars Yuki Sakurai from GEKIKAN EXILE as Kazuma, a newly hired employee in the Human Resources Department, and Takamatsu Aloha from Bullet Train as Ren, who has a secret and is a top designer at the same advertising company. The drama depicts two people torn apart from an incident ten years ago until they reunite and gradually rekindle their love. It is under the direction of Yuho Ishibashi, known for the acclaimed “Our Dining Table,” this production beautifully captures the essence of destined love and longing.
