MBS ‘My Personal Weatherman’ is Coming to GagaOOLala; Premieres on August 11

The international platform which will show Japanese BL ‘My Personal Weatherman‘ has been revealed!

Following the release of its opening theme song “Traümerei” (Daydreaming) by GANG PARADE, and its 30-second official teaser, LGBTQ+ BL streaming platform GagaOOLala announced it would feature the second line-up of Tunku drama shower program block ‘My Personal Weatherman’. The TV series consists of eight episodes and is based on the award-winning comic Chil-Chil BL Award by Nikke Taino.

The adaptation stars promising actors Kohei Higuchi and Atsuki Mashiko from GENIC as Mizuko Segasaki and Yoh Tanada, respectively. The director of ‘Old Fashion Cupcake’, Ayaka Kato, helmed the MBS’ latest adaptation along with her co-directors, Shinju Funabiki and Emi Yasumura, and the screenwriter of ‘Jack o’ Frost’, Takahashi Natsuki. The drama depicts a relationship with a contract that is equal parts erotic and constrictive.

Mizuki Segasaki (Kohei Higuchi) is an up-and-coming weather forecaster who seems like a mild-mannered man, but beneath the placid surface he is a tyrant at home. This fact is well known to pornographic manga artist Yoh Tanada (Atsuki Mashiko), who lives with him. Although Segasaki provides for all of Tanada’s expenses, the only condition for this deal is that Tanada needs to obey Segasaki’s every wish…!

‘My Personal Weatherman‘ is set to premiere on August 11 and will take over the ‘Tokyo in April is…’ time slot, which is every Friday at 10 AM GMT+8 on GagaOOLala worldwide except in Japan and South Korea. It will also be available to stream in selected regions on Rakuten Viki.
