Heads up, BL fans in London! The Japanese BL drama ‘If It’s With You’ will be screening at the upcoming 2024 Queer East Festival.
“If It’s With You,” also known as “Kimi To Nara Koi Wo Shite Mite Mo,” is a five-episode TV drama based on Maru Kubota’s novel. It features actors Takato Okura as Amane, a high school student who has given up on seriously loving anyone, and Wataru Hyuga as Ryuji, a caring, sweet, and easy-going person. Hana Matsumoto is the director and Mash Morino is the screenwriter of the drama, which tells the story of a pure and agonizing love between two high school students set in Enoshima, Japan.
Additionally, the drama will be edited and presented as a feature film with a runtime of 120 minutes at the 2024 Queer East Festival in London, United Kingdom, on April 20th!
