Despite their clashing personality, Soga and Sakae go on dates in the next episode of Although I Love You, and You?
In the last episode, Sakae shares with the people at Tamae his attempts to adapt to the Osaka communication style, avoiding disrupting conversations and falsely claiming expertise in making takoyaki, a dish he’s never prepared. However, his strategy takes an unexpected turn when he receives an invitation to a home party that requires him to actually cook takoyaki. To prepare for it, Soga and Sakae grow closer during a unique takoyaki-making training session at Soga’s residence. When Soga expresses a desire to go somewhere, Sakae anticipates their first date, but their opposite personalities create tension. Sakae, adapting to the situation, feels disconnected from Soga but continues going on their dates. Concerned for Sakae’s well-being, childhood friend Kaname, who witnessed Sakae’s manipulation by ex-lover Mizuki, fears he will get his heart broken again. Meanwhile, Sakae grapples with whether to inform Kazuyo, a frequent visitor at the Tamae and Sakae’s colleague who is actively pursuing him, that his love interest is a man.
