Kai tells Hirokuni the reason why he has always liked him in the next episode of Perfect Propose.
In the last episode, Hirokuni finds himself constantly thinking about Kai at work, leading him to recognize his true feelings during a casual chat with a coworker. Later, they end up sharing a bed, where Kai tightly embraces the confused Hirokuni. Kai tells Hirokuni the reason why he has liked Hiro since he was a child, expressing, “I always found you cool.” Surprised by Kai’s sentiments, Hirokuni struggles to comprehend his feelings. Meanwhile, at a company gathering, Hirokuni is informed by Kaneko, a senior colleague whom Hirokuni relies on, that he is retiring and he becomes intoxicated from shock and exhaustion. Kai is summoned to the place and returns home carrying a drunk Hirokuni on his back. Hirokuni feels sorry for himself and can’t help but whine. Kai looks at Hirokuni kindly as he begins to talk about the time when they first met.
