On October 29, the global LGBTQ+ BL media platform surprised fans with the announcement of its newest Japanese series, ‘Love in the Air – Premonition of Love’, set to premiere this weekend.
This marks the first Japanese remake of a Thai BL series. ‘Love in the Air’ is based on MAME’s novels “Love Storm” and “Love Sky,” celebrated for its captivating chemistry between two main couples and its steamy scenes.
Nagumo Shoma, known for ‘Kiss x Kiss x Kiss: Love ii Shower’ and ‘At 25:00 in Akasaka’, will take on the role of Arashi (Phayu), a talented architect and mechanic. Hamaya Takuto, a member of Kindan no Houteishiki, will play Rei (Rain), an architecture student on a mission to make Phayu fall for him.
Suzuki Asahi from WATWING will portray Fuma (Prapai), Phayu’s close friend who works in his family’s company with ambitions of becoming president and moonlights as a dirt-track racer. Meanwhile, Nagatsuma Reo from 7ORDER will play Kai (Sky), Rain’s kind-hearted best friend and a first-year architecture student who always puts others before himself.
