SYNOPSIS:
Jo, a closeted black attorney, is struggling with the rape and unplanned pregnancy of her white partner Frances. When Frances dies unexpectedly during childbirth, Jo must search within to come to terms with her own sexuality and her humanity, before seeking custody of their newborn.
