EGOIST (エゴイスト)

Film Synopsis:

After losing his mother at the age of 14, Kousuke spent his depressed adolescence life hiding his gay identity in a rural town. He now works as a fashion magazine editor for a publishing company in Tokyo and spends his free time with his close friends after his job. There, he meets Ryuta, a personal trainer who lives nearby while supporting his mother, who is a single mother.

Kousuke is clad in high-brand clothes like armor to protect himself, and while he was doing what he wanted. Ryuta is indifferent to all of these. The two, who are attracted to each other, spend a fulfilling time together with Ryuta’s mother at times. For Kousuke, it was an enjoyable time spending time supporting Ryuta, who also became close to his mother. However, an unexpected fate suddenly rushes in front of them.
