Studio Heartbreak has released the trailer for its lesbian animated thriller film ‘The Lovers’.

According to the studio, ‘The Lover’ is an animated thriller about the romantic tension between a seafood chef and a siren, set in a dark fantasy Philippines.

The studio aimed to reach at least $60,000 to fund the development of this project, but as of 9AM (UTC+8), they have reached over $98,000 in donations.

There is no information yet on when the full short film will be released, but we’re glad that Studio Heartbreak is getting so much support for their endeavor!
