Netflix’s hit dating reality show ‘The Ultimatum’ returns for a new season, and this time, it’s sapphic as hell!
Titled ‘The Ultimatum: Queer Love’, the “social experiment” TV show returns with five new queer couples, all women, bisexual, and non-binary, where they are put “at a crossroads in their relationship.” The show promises an exciting new season. “One partner is ready for marriage, the other may have doubts. An ultimatum is issued. And in just over eight weeks, each couple will either get married or get out, after they each choose new potential partners in a life-changing opportunity to get a glimpse of two different futures,” Netflix describes in the teaser released April 17.
From the teaser alone, it already looks a little spicy and messy. It begins with a contestant describing another contestant, “I don’t even want to say her name anymore, she’s like Voldemort to me.” From there, it goes from emotional drama and tears to nasty confrontations — not surprising for a reality show about emotions and love, right?
‘The Ultimatum: Queer Love’ will start streaming on Netflix on May 24.
