On October 15, WeTV Thailand announced the adaptation of Dawin’s best-selling novel ‘Knock Out’ as their upcoming regional project in collaboration with ‘Dee Hup House’, the production company known for their notable works such as ‘Lovely Writer’ and ‘I Feel You Linger in the Air‘. The two also collaborated on the recently concluded drama ‘I Saw You in My Dream‘, now streaming on GagaOOLala.

The novel follows Kieran, a recent graduate living a slow-paced life. Concerned that his son might waste away, his father pushes him into a job as an assistant boxing promoter at a gym. Kieran’s first task is to convince Than, a top boxer and his former rival, to join a competition managed by his boss. However, this proves more challenging than expected, especially since the boxer is someone Kieran has clashed with before.

Additionally, WeTV producer Earnie J, known for his work on ‘Monster Next Door’, revealed that ‘Knockout’ will be his new project, sharing two photos with emoticons—likely a hint about the lead actors.

Fans speculate that the cast might include actors under Dee Hup House’s management, tagged as #GenerationD: Tee Boonyakait, Nice Boripat, Heng Thatpong, and the on-screen BL pair Game Orarig and Surf Patchara from ‘I Saw You in My Dream’.
