All hail the new drag superstar! 24-year-old queen Maxie has been crowned the winner of ‘Drag Race Philippines Season 3’!
In the finale episode on October 9, Wednesday, Maxie brought home the crown after beating Khianna at the final lip sync for your life.
Maxie bested 10 other queens in the competition: Versex, Yudipota, J Quinn, John Fedellaga, Popstar Bench, Myx Chanel, Zymba Ding, finalist Tita Baby, and Maxie’s sister, Angel.
In the finale episode, Angel and Tita Baby were eliminated in the prior talent show and a runway consisting of three different looks: First Time’s a Charm (a reinterpretation of their first drag looks), Art Attack Extravaganza (artful drag), and Come in Your Best Drag (the queens’ best looks). Maxie went up against Khianna in a final lip-sync smackdown, edging out her competitor to the ballad song “Lipad ng Pangarap (Flight of Dreams).”
The ‘Drag Race PH’ Season 3 winner will take home a crown and scepter, as well as a whooping Php 1 million, and a one-year supply of cosmetics from Anastasia Beverly Hills. She was crowned by last season’s winner Captivating Katkat.
