Good news to Xiaobao and Huaien fans! ‘Meet You At the Blossom’ is not that over yet…

‘Meet You at the Blossom,’ a groundbreaking Chinese-Thai BL drama, has won viewers with its unique blend of traditional wuxia elements and modern BL storytelling.

Set in ancient China, the story follows Jin Xiaobao, the charming and wealthy heir of the Jin family, who falls in love with Huai En, a person he initially believes to be a beautiful woman. However, when he discovers the truth about Huai En’s gender, a whirlwind of romance, deception, and classic wuxia themes—like espionage and martial arts—unfolds.

On August 18, the show’s producer shared an update on Weibo, revealing that two special episodes, each 5-6 minutes long, were filmed. Unlike the main series, these episodes are original expansions by the screenwriters, not based on the novel. Unfortunately, since this is an overseas project without domestic registration, the special episodes are unlikely to be released locally in China. However, they might be available in Thailand. Hello, everyone! I know you’re eagerly waiting for the special episodes, so here’s an update. We did film two extra episodes, but they aren’t based on the original content by the author. The screenwriters expanded the storyline instead. Due to the production schedule, only one episode is of good quality. Each episode is about 5-6 minutes long. If you don’t mind, I can bundle them together for you. However, since this project is an overseas production without a domestic registration number, it’s illegal to sell it in the country. So, it’s not as simple as everyone might think. Most likely, you’ll have to purchase the special episodes at an event in Bangkok. If another option becomes available, I’ll let everyone know.
