The highly anticipated Korean BL (Boys’ Love) drama ‘A Time of Fever’ is set to premiere this September, captivating audiences with its heartwarming story of friendship and love!
Directed by Yang Kyung Hee, ‘A Time of Fever’ follows the journey of two childhood friends, Ho Tae and Dong Hee, as they navigate the complexities of their relationship after Ho Tae returns to his hometown of Gangneung. Dong Hee, who has been living alone in Ho Tae’s empty house after coming out and being kicked out of his home, finds his emotions resurfacing when Ho Tae returns.
As the two friends begin living together again, Dong Hee tries to suppress his feelings, but it’s not easy. In an effort to escape his confusing feelings, Ho Tae starts dating girls recklessly, which only adds to Dong Hee’s heartache. Witnessing Ho Tae like this hurts Dong Hee, and after an unexpected incident, the delicate balance of their relationship begins to shift.

‘A Time of Fever’ is a spin-off of the popular BL drama ‘Unintentional Love Story’ and stars Won Tae Min as Ho Tae and Do Woo as Dong Hee. The film explores themes of love, friendship, and self-discovery, set against the backdrop of a small Korean town, and promises to deliver a heartfelt and moving story that will resonate with audiences worldwide.

The movie’s trailer, released on March 17, has already generated significant buzz among fans of Korean BL with its poignant storytelling and emotional performances. The movie was exclusively screened in local theaters in South Korea in May. On July 26th, the production officially revealed its upcoming international release as a drama version, consisting of six episodes with a 20-minute runtime each, via a global streaming platform.
