‘The Secret of Us’ is an adaptation of Meenam’s best-selling Yuri web novel “Jai Sorn Rak (ใจซ่อนรัก), depicting the story of a heartbroken doctor falling in love with her ex-lover. The drama features Sirilak Kwong (Lingling) and Kornnaphat Sethratanapong (Orn) and is directed by Saratswadee Wongsomphet (Nay), acclaimed for her work on “YES or NO,” a 2010 movie based on a sapphic web novel, especially popular in Mainland China. The series premiered on June 24 and has garnered attention for its production quality and the anticipation surrounding its release.
The series revolves around Doctor Lada, known as the “angel doctor,” who is haunted by the memories of her ex-girlfriend, Earn, who broke her heart. The story unfolds as Lada is forced to reunite with Earn when she becomes a presenter at the hospital where Lada works. This reunion stirs up Lada’s emotional scars and forces her to confront her feelings.
