Heads up! The upcoming sports-themed BL series, ‘The Rebound’, has just unveiled its official trailer ahead of its release in two weeks.

The newly released trailer builds on the teaser’s scenes, packed with intense basketball action and drama, sparking excitement for both the characters’ dreams and budding romance. As Atom moves to a new place, jealousy flares between childhood friends Ryu and Zen, both members of the school’s basketball team. This dynamic is central to the storyline, leading them to a promise of creating good memories together and hinting at their developing relationship. Meanwhile, although there are no clues about Frank and Nammon’s characters’ stories, this also piques fans’ interest.

The story follows the love, dreams, and path to victory of a group of young basketball players from different backgrounds who share the same dream. Led by “Ryu” and “Zen,” former best friends who bonded over basketball since childhood, their connection evolves beyond friendship. However, Ryu is still hesitant and confused, struggling to accept his feelings for Zen.

It all begins with Zen, a grade 11 student and rising star of his high school basketball team, aiming to secure a university scholarship to pave the way for a brighter future due to his family’s financial difficulties. However, a major obstacle arises when news leaks that a senior player in grade 12 was involved in drug use, a story exposed by Lin, a member of the school’s journalism club. This led to an announcement that the basketball club might be disbanded the following year.

Determined not to give up on the sport he loves, Zen resolves to lead the team in the annual high school basketball tournament. He must also recruit new members and find a new coach before the qualifying rounds begin.
