It was announced through X (formerly Twitter) that the new BL manga to be adapted by AnimeFesta will be ‘Yatara Yarashii Fukami-kun’ (Unexpectedly Naughty Fukami) by Matsumoto Ayaka.
ComicFesta, a digital comic platform managed by WWWave Corporation, specializes in manga with explicit content. In March 2017, they launched the streaming service “AnimeFesta” (formerly Anime Zone and ComicFesta Anime) on their platform. This service features anime adaptations of manga in the adult, TL (teen’s love), and BL (boy’s love) genres, many of which are published by Suiseisha. Known BL animes under the platform are ‘The Titan’s Bride’ and ‘Caressing the Nipples of My Hibernating Bear’.
The latest BL adaptation from AnimeFesta, ‘The Perfect Prince Loves Me, The Side Character?!’, premiered on April 8 this year. The next project, ‘Unexpectedly Naughty Fukami’, has been announced, and a mini preview was released to commemorate the news. The mini preview features panels from the manga that are sure to excite fans. Further announcements regarding the cast and broadcast date will be made soon.
