With Thai actor Mek Jirakit returning to the screen for the first time in a few years with ‘My Stand-In’, some fans wanted to know more about the ‘Sky In Your Heart’ actor’s future in the industry, particularly in BL series. Luckily, Mek was more than willing to clarify things.

He first started by explaining that he will continue to act, despite what many assumed after his long hiatus, and may even play roles in BL series. However, he does not want to have any lead BL roles yet as he does not want to replace his previous screen-partner, referring to Mark Jiruntanin, who starred alongside Mek in “Sky In Your Heart’. He did mention that he may change his mind later on, but this is how he feels at the moment.

He went on to explain that his previous management at GMMTV already had plans to make changes to the established pairing, possibly referring to how Mark was paired with Junior Panachai in ‘Cherry Magic TH’ as well as in the upcoming ‘Perfect10 Liners’. Mek then stated that he does not want the feelings associated with being on-screen partners with someone again, regardless of whether the MekMark ship still exists or not.
