Meet The Queens Of ‘Drag Race All Stars 9’ And Their Chosen Charities

Drag Race All Stars 9

World of Wonder has announced the official cast of RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars’ season 9!

The cast will have eight ‘Drag Race’ alumni from its first season to Season 14. It’s the first All-Stars season aside from the all-winners season to feature eight queens.

The winner will walk away with a $200,000 grand prize but the money will be donated to the winner’s chosen charity, marking another herstory for the franchise.

Without further ado, here are the fierce and fabulous queens of ‘Drag Race All Stars 9’:

Angeria Paris VanMicheals (Season 14):

Angeria, a black queen best known for her heart of gold and stunning looks, chose the National Black Justice Collective, “America’s leading national civil rights organization dedicated to the empowerment of Black lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer+ and same gender loving (LGBTQ+/SGL) people, including people living with HIV/AIDS.”

Gottmik (Season 13):

Gottmik, being the first trans man to compete on the franchise, is playing for Trans Lifeline, “a grassroots hotline, advocacy and micro-grants non-profit offering direct emotional and financial support to trans people in crisis.”

Jorgeous (Season 14):

The lip sync assassin of season 14 chose the National Alliance on Mental Illness, “the nation’s largest grassroots mental health organization dedicated to building better lives for the millions of Americans affected by mental health conditions.”

Nina West (Season 11):

The comedy queen who is currently under fire for Zionism allegations is playing for The Trevor Project, “the leading suicide prevention and crisis intervention organization for LGBTQ+ young people.”

Plastique Tiara (Season 11):

Plastique, an Asian queen known for serving looks and impeccable fashion, chose The Asian American Foundation, which was formed “in response to the rise in anti-Asian hate and to address the long-standing underinvestment in Asian American, Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islander communities.”

Roxxxy Andrews (Season 5, “All Stars” Season 2):

The queen of wig reveals is playing for Miracle of Love, which supplies “accessible HIV/AIDS prevention programming and supportive assistance to service the multicultural needs of communities in Central Florida.”

Shannel (Season 1, “All Stars” Season 1):

Shannel, famous for her makeup artistry during her runs in the show, is competing for the Anxiety and Depression Association of America, “a global nonprofit committed to advancing research and helping people overcome anxiety, depression, OCD, PTSD, bipolar disorder and related conditions.”

Vanessa Vanjie (Season 10, Season 11):

The queen of viral exit lines chose ASPCA, an animal rights group that “has been on the frontlines to save, transform and protect the lives of millions of dogs, cats, equines and farm animals in the fight against animal cruelty and homelessness.”
