WeTV Thailand, in partnership with Kongthup Production, just released the pilot trailer of its Thai BL original ’Monster Next Door’ on YouTube!

‘Monster Next Door (พี่เขาบุกโลกของผม)’ is an upcoming WeTV original based on Jiwinil’s novel, ‘Godzilla Next Door’, depicting the romance between an extrovert and an introvert Chemical Engineering students. The drama will feature actors Thanakorn Kuljarassombat (Big) from ‘Big Dragon’ and Anantadej Sodsee (Park) from ‘2Moons: The Ambassador’ as God and Diew, respectively.

God is a third-year college student who enjoys socializing, has a caring personality, and dreams of becoming the drummer of the university band. Meanwhile, Diew, a first-year student, is a shy, introverted boy who loves peace and feels awkward every time he meets a lot of people, but he is also someone who cares about other people’s feelings.

The newly released pilot begins with Diew, an introvert living alone in a university dorm, where he encounters his polar opposite neighbor, God. One day, Diew felt so down with his reporting performance that while walking, he saw a pink bear mascot and asked for a hug. He turned out to be God, who initiates a late-night balcony chat with Diew. Despite a wall separating them, their conversations foster trust. The two share the same goal of pursuing their dreams, leading to private talks that deepen their bond. But their relationship takes a turn when the two accidentally meet, and that night, Diew initiates a kiss with God, who later reciprocates with a more passionate kiss.

SYNOPSIS: Cute introvert Diewdai likes living in his ultra-private world, hiding away in his apartment. Khun Chai, a turtle, is his best friend. However, God—an extroverted senior—destroys Diew’s life of peace when he moves in next door.
