LOOK: A Dump of Photo Stills Released So Far For Up and Poom’s Newest BL ‘My Stand-In’

Following the announcement of the cast on November 7, production company YYDS Entertainment has been releasing teaser photos for the upcoming BL ‘My Stand-In’ featuring the CP Up and Poom.

Starting in December, the production has been teasing fans with behind-the-scenes photos of the filming for iQiyi’s newest BL offering featuring its lead stars Up Poompat Iam-Saman (‘Lovely Writer’) and Poom Phuripan Sapsangsawat (‘Bake Me Please’) who play Ming (Yan Mingxiu) and Jo (Zhou Xiang), respectively.

The photo stills start with Up and Poom separately but progressively become intertwined with each other with some pictures even showing the two exchanging yearning looks with each other, which excited fans further.

‘My Stand-In’ is a Thai series adaptation of the hit Chinese novel ‘职业替身’, also known as ‘Professional Body Double’. It follows Zhou Xiang, a stuntman for Wang Yudong, who was considered a substitute for Yan Mingxiu in both his past and current lives. He fell off a cliff while filming a documentary, only to awaken two years later in another person’s body. Despite his past, he couldn’t escape his fate as a substitute, and the two remain connected.

Aside from Up and Poom, the cast is joined by Inntouch Naphat Chalermphonphakdee (‘My Engineer’), Billy Possatorn Wittanyaprechapol, Mek Jirakit Thawornwong, Porsche Tanathorn Charoenratanaporn (‘You’re My Sky’), and Shu Nunnicha Saehuang.

‘My Stand-In’ is directed by Pepzi Banchorn Vorasataree and Khom Kongkiat Khomsiri who were also involved in the megahit iQiyi series ‘KinnPorsche’.

‘My Stand-In’ is slated to be released in 2024 and will be released exclusively on the streaming platform iQIYI.
