The pilot episode begins with Samut’s father, who receives a call informing him that the buyer decided not to buy the port, where most of the families of fishermen rely. After that, the young Samut witnessed how his father died.
The next scene pans out with adult Samut appearing, who is lying on the sand, and a guy named Veayo waking him up since it’s time for them to leave. Samut narrates that despite not knowing much about Veayo, he has found him kind and reliable ever since his father was murdered. Veayo is the kind of person who likes to disappear without a trace. He also added that his name is derived from where his parents’ romance begins, which is the sea.
Samut arrives at the port and witnesses his mom begging the creditor that she will be paying her debt in the evening as she only has one customer. He handed the crab porridge to his mom for lunch. After noticing Veayo was waiting for him, Samut left and shared the meal he cooked with him.
The two went to the mountains and witnessed a picturesque view. Veayo secretly flirted with Samut as he pointed out someplace using his lips, where Samut teased him that he liked a pig. A dramatic atmosphere covers Samut as he shares that the place Veayo pointed to is beautiful. It has a mountain and a port, but it’s cold and dark there. Samut explained that the place where he lost everything will never be the same. Upon hearing it, Veayo changed the conversation and asked Samut to take care of him. The episode ends with Samut and Veayo, who are about to kiss.
