Marvel Rumored To Be Eyeing Kit Connor As Hulkling, ‘Heartstopper’ Fans React

Are we getting a Narlie reunion in the Marvel Cinematic Universe soon?

Rumors have surfaced about Marvel Studios eyeing ‘Heartstopper’ actor Kit Connor as Teddy Altman, a Skrull/Kree hybrid best known as Hulkling.

This rumor is nothing unfamiliar to fans who have been fan-casting Connor in the role before but it was only very recently that X accounts MyTimeToShineHello and The Cosmic Circus, both known to provide juicy scoops, claimed that Marvel is locking in on the 20-year-old actor as it prepares for the Young Avengers to assemble in the MCU.

In the comics, Hulkling possesses shapeshifting abilities and super strength. His lover is Billy Kaplan, better known to comic book fans as Billy Maximoff or Wiccan, the son of the Scarlet Witch. Together, they are hailed as “Marvel’s most prominent gay couple”.

What does this have to do with ‘Heartstopper’, you ask?

If you haven’t been in the loop, Wiccan will be played by Connor’s on-screen partner Joe Locke in the upcoming Disney+ original series ‘Agatha All Along’!

Although the news has not been officially confirmed yet, their fans took to social media to celebrate the possible reunion.

“Imagine the full circle moment if this is true and Joe is in fact playing Wiccan. Alice drew Charlie and Nick as Wiccan and Hulking for Halloween years ago. Then she casts Joe and Kit as Charlie and Nick. Now this rumor. Wow,” a fan wrote.
