Khmer BL ‘Love of the Sea’ is Premiering Soon!

The newest Cambodian BL ‘Love of the Sea’ is coming!

‘វាយោសមុទ្រ Love of the Sea’, an upcoming Khmer BL web drama produced by Plerng Kob. Here is a new sneak peek of its official trailer which will be released soon! It stars social media influencers Rainnie Dara, Ksartra, and Marie Thach. This project is written by Bo Sakal Kitya and directed by Rithy Lomorpich. It also received a sponsorship from an ice cream brand, Cornetto.

 

Watch its 15-second sneak peek with the caption, “Can you tell me when the sea is the most beautiful for you?”

 

On the other hand, Rainnie Dara also released a cast introduction video through his Facebook page.

 

Samuth, which means “sea” in Khmer, is a modest young boy and the only child in the family whose father is a passionate fisherman and business-minded man who manages a fishing port. The family is quite well-off and doesn’t need to worry about their daily consumption. However, the relationship between the father and son is mostly like rain in a dry season. Silence is Samuth’s language and his only response to his dad. He doesn’t even talk too much and doesn’t express his feelings to anyone, not even his mom. But meeting Veatu, a young man who seems like his best friend and with whom he can share his thoughts and dreams, As the waves hit the surface of the sea, what kind of romance awaits the fisherman’s children at sea?
