Starting off the thread was an update that only 35% of scenes were left to shoot, but production is temporarily on pause to let the cast prepare for their concert, referring to the upcoming ‘LYKN UNLEASHED CONCERT’ this September 21. Mui then went on to talk about the main cast and how they’ve been doing on the set starting with Hong.
According to Mui, Hong, who plays Dylan, said he expected work on the series to be more tiring than it actually was. She went on to praise his attentiveness on set and the way he gets into character, particularly with his comedic timing.
Next up was Lego, who plays Nano. Lego’s main challenge on the set seemed to be holding in his laughter, even falling to the ground from laughter at times. Mui also noted that Lego likes to improvise during his scenes.
Tui, who plays Pepper, was mentioned next in the thread. The dedicated day for Pepper’s scenes is only half done as per the director, but she noted that it was quite challenging for Tui. Tui seems to have put in the work to face the challenges, though, with Mui claiming he read the script countless times to prepare.
Up next was Nut, who Mui noted to have started his filming day on the first day of shooting. Mui added that she wasn’t worried about Nut at all when it comes to this series, even adding that someone told her that they think Jun, Nut’s character, is the real Nut.
Next was William, who plays one of the titular characters, Thame. Mui thinks Thame brought William far from where he was before the series started production, claiming that William as Thame will show us things we’ve never seen from him before.
