Yang Kyung Hee’s ‘The Fifth Season‘ is now streaming on GagaOOLala.
‘The Fifth Season’ is a 30-minute South-Korean short film that was released in 2018. It is an official selection of the 2018 Korea Queer Film Festival and the 2018 Seoul International Women’s Film Festival. The short stars Lee Ga Kyung and Ha Seong Yeon, and is directed by Yang Kyung Hee, who directed “Kissable Lips”, “The Director Who Buys Me Dinner”, and “Love Tractor”.
Eunha and Seowoo’s relationship has been through many stages, from infatuation to romantic love and finally moving in together. However, their journey takes a tragic turn when Seowoo falls into a coma after an accident. Despite Eunha’s desire to be by her partner’s side at the hospital, Seowoo’s parents’ disapproval of their relationship prevents her from visiting. As Eunha is burdened with memories of their time together, how will she cope with this difficult situation?
